Hi all..First post so be kind.
I have a Crafter SA "Hybrid" guitar with undersaddle piezo and a P90 neck pickup. The guitar has 4 rotary controls... Vol and Tone for each pickup and a 3 way PU selector switch (Bridge/both/neck).
I use the guitar playing live and can't get to grips with all the knob twiddling. I rarely use either pickup by itself and would love to replace the 3 way switch with a blend control pot and a single volume control. The existing LR Baggs designed electronics is on a single SMT PCB with all the pots soldered on directly and the pickup and output jack connections via plugs and sockets. My plan is to remove the existing PCBA and replace it with a hardwired circuit to individual controls. I could just about get the wiring circuit together but my concern is mixing the output from the Piezo with the output from the P90 so I guess I need to include a preamp for the piezo. Any one seen something similar so they could point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
