scored 30+ GE NOS 12AX7s at my local surplus store (R5D3 in PDX)
really 3 lots of 12AX7, 12AX7A (w/3 micas) and 12AX7/ECC83 branded GEs from Tektronix headquarters in Hillsboro, pristine and wonderful, for $3.25 each (talked Bob down from $3.50)
Sold them for -cough- a bit more on the Ebay and plowed the $ into a new Yamaha P2500S power amp ($200 with shipping) which people LOVE.
Yeah! its great when Ebay works...although UPS still has to get me the Yamaha...
