SO watching Discovery CHannel, and it was BAttle Bots all day long, still watching now.

I love Battle Bots. COnsider the engineering that has to go into these things that get bashed to bits. Like one guy says, if your Bot can't handle a 16 foot drop to the pavement, you aren't ready. These things weigh up to 250 pounds and a good flipper Bot can flip them 20 feet in the air. After they take some damage, some of them catch fire, and yet they still function!!! Flames coming out and they still drive around bashing on an opponent.

Maybe Boeing should have hired those guys to build the 737 MAX.

technically NOT a robot since they must be actively controlled in real time, but I too appreciate them, especially the big kinetic ones!
