Hello All,
Thought I would share this with y'all just in case someone is faced with this dillema.
I needed to replace the OT on this amp but the replacements I could come up with through Hammond and even Merc Magnetics weren't nearly the physical size as this OT or the secondary did not allow for all 3 impedances to be available on separate jacks. IOW with the Hammond that was the correct physical size, only allowed the weird dual output secondary windings to be wired for one choice of impedance.
So, I contacted Mercury Magnetics & sent them pix of the original xformer with dimensions.
Turns out it appears they must have made this xformer for Div by 13 and had all the specs to make me one. I was thrilled as even the mounting holes would match up.
So the number that was on the xformer is close to what Merc uses. It's DVD13-OT20 if anyone should have the need. It's also an excellent 6V6 Push-Pull set up with all 3 separate impedances available.
