Hello everybody.
I have a problem with an old yamaha dx 7 II FD synthesizer that has the E! of Gray Metter. After years of inactivity (although turning it on occasionally and trying out the sounds), the screen was always with a lot of F and odd different signs. I decided to replace the battery. I reloaded the sounds from the floppy drive but some marks on the screen remain. When I change banks or switch to the cartridge, the first sound is written correctly but I have no possibility to move between the sounds, the others are all with the f. The keys works good because when editing the sounds they respond normally. Also the keyboard is completely silent. Could the EPROM be erased in your opinion?
What other problem could it be?
Thanks in advance
