Not saying he is a bot or AI, I've seen a lot more lately on various forums. They are getting much better at fooling people. Goal is to make them be a monthly contributor. Sorry if not a bot.

I'm with you. My hope is that this is a genuine individual that recognizes this forum as securing corner stones in what music electronics actually means. Going as far back as we do sometimes this would be a stretch for many modern marketers. But taping into it as a modern marketer could have merit. I hope that's what we're seeing here with Morgan. Someone that doesn't dismiss things that could still matter. But,.. Might be an AI bot. It's becoming hard to tell.

That said, why? Why would an AI bot want to engage in the interactions of the forum? AI doesn't generally do that. AI usually just regurgitates whatever the most frequent responses are. So this introduction would be inconsistant with that. I remain hopeful.

The link in the user profile says 'marketing' to me. I don't think AI, but awaiting spam link payload.

Oh yes, and they almost always have a photo for an avatar. In this case straight off the 'adobe stock images' page.

Good catch. I was sure marketing was the point since the guy in the image was too handsome to be a nerd like us. I figured it was a false image but didn't care enough to look for it.

Spelling and sentence structure get to be a little bit too perfect. Usually pretty polite too. Odd location too. Now if he/she/it had asked a actual question, then later went to the introduce yourself thread i might believe it was a real person. Just now when i type stuff in Google, the first answer is the AI version, condensed from all the web pages. I wonder if the AI bots could start a thread themselves, then argue it out who is correct.

I think i saw a thread on aguitarforum.net where the bot was similar. Hi i am new here and just waiting to learn from all you knowledgeable people.
