Way back when, 5 1/4 floppies, had to add a ISA sound card to your computer if you wanted to hear anything. CGA, EGA, VGA video cards, I had a program that would make designs, or fractals to go along with the music. Very similar to the above. Playing Dark side of the moon was great.
