Hello all!
I'm looking for a stereo fader for a Yamaha MJ100 DJ type mixer. I called Yamaha directly and was told the part is discontinued. I'm looking for info on the part so that I might try to get one from another source. Circuit board designation is VR4. I'm hoping the service manual has some part numbers. I have at times been able to Google search Yamaha part numbers and source parts from other vendors. Possibly the manual has a generic number also? The fader is a 20KA PC mount stereo fader with no other markings (no brand or manufacturer part #). The pins come off of the sides of the fader and after searching Mouser and several others, I can't find any faders with the solder pins in the correct configuration. All of the faders I've found have the pins on the ends instead of the sides.
I'll take whatever info and/or advice I can get and thanks in advance!
