Yes, there's one in my '66 Vox AC50.....seems like it wouldn't be enough to slow the inrush voltage a bit.

I have one of those DeArmond soundhole pickups somewhere (got it used around 1967/68).....as I recall, it doesn't have a pole under the second or third string....

Get the slowest taper pot you like, it won't help - because the voume pot is not a voltage divider like every other amp; it works by loading down the signal....

ummm..maybe folks haven't seen the inside of a quad-reverb...
Of course, mods made to twin-reverbs and super-six might be similar.....
