solved the issue by removing D75! Did not really need PFL anyway!! Something was setting the enable line low for PFL! Maybe this G series has a capacitor...

This is interesting! Sometimes feeding the enable line with 1.3V, the PFL light will stay off for a minute or two and audio will work as normal.

CE1000 low volume
This amp arced to the chassis thus blowing both channels. After repair, now both channels max out with 5 Vpp on the output.

Difference in Behringer LPA1180 rev f and j
Got a BXL1800A in with a destroyed LPA1180 power board and found a replacement LPA1180 from Full Compass.
They looked the same in the photo's so ordered...

Found D5 shorted effectively shutting off drive to Q1!!!

Got the load on. Amp idles just fine but as soon as signal is applied, speaker out runs from +1V to +15V.

Mackie SRS1500 rebuild problem
Just rebuilt an SRS1500, amp idles well but when signal is increased it starts clipping on the negative side and hence the DC voltage on the speaker terminals...
