Hi guys, when you're talking about HF bias voltage for recording heads (60 -90 -120volts) do you refer to rms, pk or p-p voltage ?

You're welcome 470 Ohm (as in 5F1) for cathode resistor is good starting point, but, most likely you'll have to settle down with 250 Ohm for 6aq5....

If you meant by separated - isolated ground, you can't without opening transformer (if it's possible) and separate the winding wires from center tap....
