Put a resistor in series with c25. That will dampen the roll-off of the higher freq but maintain the roll-off of the lower ones. Let's say about 100k. Rolling...

When lifting the diodes you increased the signal level going to the eq. That will get you distortion when turning up the controls on the eq. Theres not much...

I put in a 2n4392 and that works well with 9V my opamps clip well before the fetswitch so i solved the problem without increasing voltage.

What kind of diode should one use? I tried the 1N4148 and it seems to work. But when i tried the BAS116 the on delay is in "seconds"! I dont get...

I think though Im gonna give up on this and go with the single jfet. They are tiny in smt.

Its pretty fast, 45 μs. But can be made soft by delaying full current onset. The thing is that its a single switch in a pretty big capsule.

As i said that would work if the mute is soft. If you mute abruptly with the exakt same fast switch you havent got rid of the problem. You just killed of...

Try muting this tone on and off https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9oYClOrS-k This is the fenomena Im talking about. It doesnt get as severe with guitar tone...Last edited by Tubis; 12-05-2015, 03:04 PM.

Okej. But i cant get that to work in my brain. It does the same thing, abruptly switch the signal to off. That should produce the same fenomena.
But...Last edited by Tubis; 12-05-2015, 01:37 PM.

The pop isnt something extra thats added. Its the sound that happens when you abruptly switches between signals. It doesnt pop when switching without signal....Last edited by Tubis; 12-05-2015, 08:57 AM.

Well, a single jfet transistor switch can be made to go smooth by a simple RC network so an analog switch isnt always absolutely on or off. The thing is that...

I think dubbling the voltage makes me use a jfet with low Vgs so i dont have to "hand select". The higher voltage also makes me able to change...

Something like this perhaps? http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/465/icl7660-522496.pdf
That would thought push my 4013 that i use to flipp flopp to its absolute...

Hm, would a charge pump IC need extra filtering for switching spikes and such?
Yea an optocoupler would be very easy way to go but they are realy...

No, i want it to be compatible with a DC9V adaptor. +/- supply would make a lot of things easier but this is going to be for guitar pedals and the 9V supply...
