The 390k is just a bleeder resistor. I don't know if i mentioned it, there is not a lot of room in those chassis. You would be best off to build it first...

Just remembered , you can take apart a dead 9v and make your own.

Voltages are high probably because the original transformer has 110v primaries? I'd have to look. I may also have some .1 or .2 ohm resistors in the filament...
