Thanks Enzo, if I only bothered to previously look at the back of the amp - it says ''4 Ohms'' - I thought that all Super Reverbs work on 2 Ohms...

I tried 3 values of resistors, and you are correct, it sounds the same to me...

Heater wiring for 6CG7 tube

Voltages in Magnatone 280 vibrato circuit
I's a homebrew amp, sounds good, but I expected somewhat stronger vibrato. Checked the voltages, some are off - instead of 58V on the grids of V7 (12BH7)...

PT secondary voltage in Magnatone 280
Hi,
does anybody know the PT secondary voltage (VAC) in Magnatone 280 amp? The schematic shows 375 VDC on the output plates.
