  • Shaftesbury (Univox, Shin-ie) Duo Fuzz Help Needed

Hi there newbie to the forum ...

I have a duo fuzz which my dad gave me years ago (which i used to terrorise the school choir with in my teens together with my 8 watt amp !) and I'd like to get it working again.

It seems from my research on the net that they are pretty rare.

This is basically a calling to anyone how has one or a pic of the insides on one so i can rewire mine.

Ive found a few on the net but the boards seem different.

    any help is apreciated !

It is basically one of the many different "versions" of the Superfuzz that Shin-Ei produced.

      True.
It is also the "brand" used by Townsend on "Live at leeds", resulting in huge prices when ebayed compared to other "brands" of exactly the same box.

We might as well get started.

First, I need to know what your electronics skill level is. Can you solder cleanly and produce smooth, shiny joints? Follow a schematic?
Amazing!! Who would ever have guessed that someone who villified the evil rich people would begin happily accepting their millions in speaking fees!

Oh, wait! That sounds familiar, somehow.
