Rojland Jazz Chorus JC-120 Repair??

Hi guys,
I've got an old (mid 80's) JC-120 and the reverb, distortion, and effects do not work. I have used is "as is" for as long as I've had it and I've always heard that the effects are great and I'd like to fix it. I am pretty savvy with repairs so I could probably DIY it but I need some direction. Is there a common issue with these. Any help would be great.

That schematic is for the JC-120H head model - somewhat different than the combos. If you need a schematic, search this forum to find posts with links to circuit diagrams of two different JC-120 revisions. Those are what you'll find from the Internet but I think there are at least 8 different JC-120 versions in total. You could also try contacting Roland.

By the way, just a first idea, do the effects work if you try to switch them with the footswitches?
