  • MXR Dyna Comp (Script logo)

    Hi!
I need to see some pictures of inside of a MXR DynaComp (old version). All the wirings and rear side of PCB. Previous owner has done some mods and ruined the pedal. If you have some pictures please let me know. Hopefully I'll get it working.

Edited: I found some pictures of PCB, so only a picture of wirings is neccesary.

I found this schematic: http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/dynacompLayout.gif and soldered all the wires like it is shown there, bet all I get is high frequency noise. Any ideas? Maybe some of the components are dead? I discovered, thad noise is there even when I unplug the battery, none of the both knobs are changing anything, tho noise get a bit lower, when I move the comp away from my amp.

Hi and welcome to the forum..
check this link out and see if it helps

Mathologie is from France and I see you're just around the corner in Latvia...!
Double check the wiring sounds to me like there is a ground/earth missing.
Usually the input jack is the ground point.
Try removing the two jacks and cleaning around the hole in the case where they are normally attached. Star washers that compress and bite into the
case and the sleeve of the jack socket should be fitted.
Refit the jacks and make sure they are nice and tight !
