Ampeg BA115 blown out from loud playing?

Hi,

My Ampeg bass amp has just developed a volume problem, no matter how high the levels are I can't make it louder than the soft sound that is coming out now. Even with the controls on the bass turned all the way up, the volume will not go past this low level. Last time I played I was playing with my band with the almost all the levels reaching the highest possible, there was some rattling but I didn't expect that this could just blow the amp...? Is the amp broken and if so is it fixable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are sure its not a speaker problem,then it would be best to take the amp to someone who could trouble shoot it.There are many things that could be wrong that would cause that symptom.
