    The guitar was refinished (and poorly, I might add) by me in the 70's. It went from a beautiful gold top deluxe with the little pickups to a natural top, long throw tune-a-matic and large humbuck rocker, so there's really no reason to get squeemish now! Guitar still looks good after 35 years of abuse but the big rash marks are REALLY bad. As in completely through. It's a player, that's for sure. Sustain forever and looks good natural. I have NO idea why I stripped it either. Geez, we were stupid when young(er). Mike.
