kustom quad100 dfx

Hi guys and gals im hoping somone can help me fiqure this problem out! I have a kustom quad100 dfx guitar combo, without depressing the digital effects button, it works fine, both channels etc. When depressed, sounds the same, with no effects, and a low hum is audable while playing. Replaced the digital effects pcb entire, turned on, and the effects were audible as well as the hum, then the effects dropped out again, and i was left with the same problem, can anyone give me a place to start,
