standby switch

is it best to put your amp on standby when changing a guitar mid set?
do the transient noises harm anything(from unplugging/plugging in), or is not a big deal. thanx, rich

it doesn't matter. STandby switches are there to leave the amp silent while you wander away from it. if you are concerned the noises might come out of it, turn the amp down.
