  • Supro Bantam schematic sought

hi all, I've got a little Supro Bantam amp here and could do with a schematic to get me started. Its not a very complicated amp with only a 12AX7 and a 50L6. its the first amp I've seen with the B+ derived straight from the wall voltage (i.e. no PT). There is a step down transformer already wired in the cab to drop our 240v mains down to 110v. Its a quirky little thing - I plan to see what it's like driving a 12" speaker as I don't want to crank the old Jensen too much.

thanks for that gtr_tech, much appreciated.

It's a weird little amp looking at the schematic. could do with a 3-prong mains connection too.

I'll be looking at reconfiguring the 12AX7 stages as its a bit flat sounding at the minute.

They're not running the gain stages very hot. But....with the available plate voltage you can't expect a miracle. It'll prolly always sound dead-ish and lack clean headroom.
