  • Need help identifying some capacitors ... please?

Hello everyone, Im new to the electronics world and Im trying to schematic out my first item.. Im stuck already!

    PROBLEM #1

There are these small capacitors which simply say "n47" on them. I figured out these are 470 pico farads, but there is no voltage rating. Also, I cant really tell what kind of cap they are. They are a yellow color.. maybe Tan. Im guessing ceramic? Any insight?

    PROBLEM #2

Also there are a bunch of what look like box capacitors with the following numbers, but no manufacurer.. Does anyone have any insight into these? They are white/cream colored boxes labeled:

    1n J400
    4nJ400
    10nJ400
    33nJ100
    .47J63

and then one that says 22n 100 with a J on the back, so I am assuming 22nJ100

Any help is appriciated, as im a total noob and a nobody.

    bel.

    The n is for nanofarad. The J signifies 5% tolerance so 22n100J = 22nano 100v 5% tol. Interweb hyperlinky

      Thank you very much!

Do you happen to have any inkling of what type of caps those are?

little guys are ceramic, boxes can be anything but most likely metalized polyester film
