Understanding cathode bias more

and would like to rebuild it into something a little more tweedy, perhaps a 5F11 Vibrolux, with a dual 6V6 complement and the old Jensen C12R I picked up. I have been recommended to use a cathode biasing scheme for more sag and modest power, however I'd also like to use tube-bias tremolo. From a superficial scan of a variety of amp schematics, it would seem that ower-tube bias tremolo is incompatible with cathode biasing of the output tubes. Or am I simply underinformed?

I'd be deeply appreciative of some clarification on the matter, or some sites/materials to look at for info. Thanks in advance.

If I do understand correctly: you wanna have a biasmodulating trem with cathodebiased outputtubes?

No problem: just put the biassplitterRs-junction to the depth-pot and ground the "minus-side" of that pot to ground.

Check the plate-current at idle and when tremoloed. Most of the time I'm biasing at 60% or less with biasmodulting trems.
