  • Lawrence L250 Question

I've got an older Bill Lawrence L250. It's a single blade sidewinder with the black felt glued on the bottom. Available wiring connections are white, red, black, and bare. red to black gives me a 13.48K reading, which seems about right. The bare shows continuity to the blade. Any ideas what the white is for? I'd appreciate any info dating this pickup. Thanks, minime

I have some of those. The white wire isn't connected to anything. I connected it to ground in my guitars.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

Thanks David, I had a feeling you have the answer that I suspected!
