Peavey kb 100 has lost half of its volume but still works???

This combo worked fine a week ago, now only half the volume bad power Caps???
Any help appreciated. thanks Cap.

Do you really think all your caps failed in the last week then? Works fine for 20 years, then all the caps fail at once?

Put some cleaner up the various insert jacks, FX loop jacks, and power amp in jacks, and probe a plug in and out of them a few times. Does that wake it up?

Hum sounds good I'll give that a try in the morning. You know that darn clearner costs $18.00 a small can I bought some last month so I'll use it now. Its probally the same as wd 40 ha ha Cap.

Did just as you described and hooked it up and low and behold full volume
in fact it works better then it did. Cap. Thanks wizard Enzo.
