Hi,
I am looking into retubing my 2004 SVT CL. I am currently using the original tubes that came with the head and they are accumulating a good bit of playing time on them. They still sound fine but I am noticing they are getting a little weak. The biasing led's seem to be functioning properly too.
Once I get my new tubes I will obviously need to check the bias. Are these amps solely biased by the two "user biased adjustment" knobs on the back, or, does the amp need to be opened up to bias? If that's the case it's going to a dealer....just trying to save a few bills.
