5e3 O.T question

Hi, I already own a Mission 5e3, totally stock, and love it. I want to build another one similar to it and was wondering about the OT.

I have on hand a 35 watt (pro reverb?) OT. with a primary of 4000 ohms and secondary of 4 ohms. If I run an 8 ohm speaker would the reflected primary be 8000 ohms on the 6v6 tubes?
Will this work in a 5e3 circuit, or should I look for another OT?

Yes the primary Z will match 6V6 into an 8ohm load.

A 35W OT is obviously a considerably bigger unit than the stock type OT, but as you have it, I'd give it a go.
