    Fender Frontman 25R Channel Problem

    My FM25R does not switch out of the drive channel - the LED indicates that it is switching channels, but when on the clean channel with the volume set to zero it sounds exactly like the drive channel - i.e. changing the gain and drive volume changes the clean channels output. Could this be due to a faulty relay?

    I thought the front panel switch did the switching.
    No relays.
    Ten to One the soldering job from the factory is not up to snuff.

      My Crate does the same thing, but only when the foot

      switches are plugged in. then the front panel switches don't work at all.
