This was my second attempt at "ye olde valve" technology: (no 1 was a 5E3 built with my son-in-law in the UK while visiting them)
I build a AA764 Champ copy. Valves & speaker got donated by my son-in-law after upgrading his Champ.
Output tranny was locally wound (7k ohms - 4 ohms), and the PT was a gift from a colleague (270-0-275 6.3 from 240-220-0)
Chassis is 2 mm aluminium, bent by friend at work.
Case was my own effort from leftover ply.
I used the Ceriatone layout as a point of departure, made my own turret/PC board with EasyPCB. Could have placed the turrets closer to match component leads... Used LEDs with 100ohm dropdown resistors for power and standby indicators.
Quiet as a mouse with very little hum when volume at top end.
