I've recently purchased a used HR DeVille with the following symptoms:
CLEAN channel has almost no gain - VOLUME & MASTER turned all the way up gives only modest 'room level' volume.
Switching on DRIVE is loud, and MORE DRIVE is very loud.
Channel switching appears to work correctly, both on the control panel or with the footswitch.
What do you think is wrong with the "Clean Channel"?
Shouldn't CLEAN, DRIVE, and MORE DRIVE modes all have the same volume?
