  • Fender Hot Rod Deluxe question

Hey, my amp is really distorted and almost no volume, i replaced the 5w 470 ohm resistors, and no change (one was shorting before), ive checked everything i can think of-it carrys 400volts B+ and biases perfectly-and im thinking it may be the OT. It has 85 and 105 ohms across it, and im thinking thats a pretty big imbalance and may be bad-what say ye?????

Try cleaning the effects loop jacks.

R57 did the trick.....your the man, i was pulling my hair out, its the only amp i really had problems with, i knew there was a problem around V3 but man that did the trick. That thing must pop with any little hiccup, lots of fun changing it out too. Works good now what a pain! Thanks again. John T.
