Hey guys so I recently got a Ampeg VL-502 50 watt all tube head that I'm running with a Marshall 1960AV, I used to use my GP-1000 all tube preamp for my distortion with a Marshall AVT 150H solid state head, but since now I have my Ampeg I want to run it threw that. Problem is that I don't know how to do it, I can't use it the same way I did with my solid state head cause it will sound like crap.... I was told that if I wanted to use my preamp then I would have to get a power amp and run a "stereo" connection using both the Ampeg and the power amp and preamp.... I'm still new to the all tube stuff and the way they all work. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
