Want to remove the nail-in feet from a Fender amp......anyone have any ideas how to do this without trashing the Tolex?????

    Thanks.

Are you going to replace the feet with some new ones? (Rubber?)

Yes, I'm going to either use rubber or the 2 piece vintage Fender ones (I believe they're called Sphinx Glides).

What Fender amp is it? I replaced the feet on my DRRI with the better glides. The old feet just pulled out - not much really holding them in. The new ones are a larger diameter, they cover the area where the old feet were. The Tolex wasnt in issue in this case.

It is a '65 PRRI, so it should be pretty much the same. Going to install cabinet corners & better glides. Will give it a shot, shouldn't be a problem; just wanted to be sure.

Yeah, I added corners too. You can use one of the holes for the corners to mount the glides. (You probably already know that)

Yes, I did know that. Those feet came right off, had the corners put on & the new glides in less than an hour.....looks GREAT.
