Apparently these amps were made by Kustom/Rickenbacker. The "selectable" channel is farty. Can't find much if any info online. After insisting to talk to someone who knew about old amps, Rickenbacker says to call this guy in LA, whom I called. Waiting to see if I get a call back.

If it were mine, I would look down the board, and I'd replace every small electrolytic I found.

The "Selectable" input can be switched between the "Normal" and "Effects" channels. Check the 4016 CMOS switches and the jacks.
