Cheap transformers

Building a Champ prototype and want to spend very little on it. Anyone know if there are POWER transformers out there for less than the $40 from Hammond and Weber?

There's always used/salvaged stuff. Aren't people ditching their PRRI transformers in favor of Mercury Magnetics ones?

I like them as well. Good deals on power and output transformer packages.
