Anybody have any experience with this unit?
Sinologix - Programmable Variable Speed Bi-Directional Coil Winder Winding Machine with Mechanical & Digital Counter
The same winder is on Ebay for about $250 being sold by Toolz-mart and it is clearly the same maker or possibly the same company as the Sinologix.
Just wondering if anyone out there had looked at one or bought one... the usual. Thoughts?
Also: I'm not too picky here, anyone got an old, affordable variable speed winder they don't use?

That's pretty cute but there's no traverse? 700 RPM is a bit on the slow side but it saved them a belt, a spindle and a couple of pulleys. It's a stepper motor, a driver and a microcontroller that sets up the pulse train. $250 sound just about right to me.

700 RPM sounds sorta fast to me . I'll just be doing the very, very occasional rewind of a vintage japan or old Kay pickup by hand. Even the much-maligned Shatten(sp?) would be fine for what I'll be doing.

Almost looks like an Elepro inspired thing.
