    Thanks for the tip. I purchased a bunch of surplus 20k pots from allelectronics.com so I don't have the bias adjust range that the stock 50k would have- I'll have to swap a resistor or two to make the bias pot more usable.

    Did you add in a mosfet source follower to improve the trem on one of your amps or am I thinking of someone else?

      I basically just copied a 5G9 trem circuit IIRC, but put the IRF820 in place of the CF stage (and added a 200R resistor to the gate and a 12V zener between the gate and the source)

        It ended up nice and clean.
        For better pictures, take them outside on a bright yet overcast day or at least when a cloud covers the Sun, for intense yet diffuse light.
        Use some rest for your forearms and press smoothly the trigger button, avoiding shake.
