    Raven RG60 1X12 combo..
    gutted it.. removed speaker.
    Ordered chassis, pt and ot.





    dinked around with those for a while..



    got out the soldering iron



    sitting upside down here as the chassis bolt retainers weren't in yet.



    gave it a good test.



    need to replace that raven logo



    18 watts marshall.. el84 X2 1AX7 X2
    power jewel standby
    gain volume treble middle bass
    input

    rocking tone for 1/2 the manus prices!

    I think that looks great! As RG once said- it's a "soul transplant." I love it when people re-use an old solid state amp and make something new with it.

      Yeah, I guess that's one way of curing a dose of silicooties!

      Where did you get the PT, Antek? It looks kind of big for an 18 watter.

        Thanks all..
        I ordered the wrong antek at first.. got my notes messed up. building a 5E3 with that..

        that rg60 sold for 200.00.. now at 150.00.
        I can't get 40.00 off the head and speaker.. I think says it all about chinese solid state.. the cab is worth more than the guts apparently.

        It sounds fabulous.. pure tube tone.. no frills.. that's my preference for sure.

        Now for the Tweed!
