    I'm looking for a decent or used ESR meter without spending big bucks.Any suggestions or used ones available?Mine got smashed.

    well, if you don't want to go after something like a Dick Smith, you might want to consider rolling your own. i found this with by googling for "esr meter":

      Thanks for the reply.I ordered an Anatek ESR60 for $169.Looked like the best bang for the buck and I didn't want to spend big bucks on one this time.I'll see how it compares to the high dollar meter I had.
