  • Hey Wolfe, got a question for ya.

    One time on the other board you talked about your Marshall head humbucker and your site tells about it being wound to hit the amp harder. I remember what you said about the TPL on it and wont reveal it here but you know what it is. I just want to know how this hits the amp harder and what causes it, how it works or whatever. I am not one of the guys here who has all the test equipment and dont know all the things they test for so an answer would really get this question out of my head. Thanks.

    It's actually not wound to hit the amp harder. Actually, it hits the amp a bit "softer" than a comparable Duncan pickup would, because the coil is larger.
