  • Tupperware Peavey

Holy smokes! I'm trying to get inside this mixer.

    It's a Peavey XR 8600 with the Tupperware-like case.

Does anyone have a tip for this.

Ahh. Another Class D amp comes a calling.
What have you done so far?
Remember this: They put it together somehow!
I have not come across one of these (yet) but I did look at photos of it.
Removing the panel screws around the edges does not let it loose?
If it is anything like the XR696 that is how it's done.
Also, if the same, the back panel screws in the middle hold the fan shroud.
Do not take these out as yet.

Found it! There are two more screws at the end of a 5" hole. Duh.

      Thanks for the assist.

For future reference, where were they located?
        Front panel. Rear panel.....

They are in the plastic case on the left side as you face the mixer. Two deep holes with screws in them.

            Thanks for the info.
Sounds like certain Yamaha mixer service manuals:
            Tools Required:
9" Long Phillips Head Screw Driver
            Glad ya got it
