With our older son having moved back home and into the basement during a bout of unemployment, I hadn't ventured much downstairs (closed doors, "girlfriend visits" and all that). But I had to go into the furnace/storage room this weekend, and spied my younger son's Rockband drumkit sitting there gathering dust. I quick google search, and it appears that all the hacking of this thing I might have suspected was going, was truly going on.
Anybody here successfully modded their (or someone else's) Rockband drumkit to turn it into a usable source of percussions MIDI triggers (or simple analog triggers)?
If so, any recommended electronic advice? any lessons learned?
