5f4 build ?

Hey guys, I'm currently building a 5f4 super tweed and one of the caps called for is an 8uf/450v
electrolytic. All I have on hand is a 8uf/150v,could I use this cap in it's place?

Hi Chuck. Most definitely not.... The voltage must always be equal or greater when you substitute caps.

You have to use a high voltage cap here... but I'd use any generic 10uF-450v cap.
