Steve. You can buy 70 uf 350 volt caps at Magic parts or CE Distribution. If not Enzo will probably have them.

I will? I'd just order them for you from Magic or CE...

Between CE, Mouser, and Allied, I usually find what I need.

And nothing wrong with using 100@350 of the 70uf are not handy.

LOL! I checked sources mentioned, & Magic is the one one that has the 70uf....

....and, apparently, I can't order them from Magic.

How do the differences in capacitance & voltage affect the sound or performance of the amp? This is for my '66 Bassman head.

              Thanks,
              Steve

Sorry Steve. I should have told you that, and I thought Enzo would have them in stock. He,s fixed amps longer then I,ve been alive. Maybe Bruce has them from mission amps. If not let me know and I will order them for you. Or you can use the one,s that Enzo said.

A shop like mine has many things in stock at any time. And many more things not in stock. Any of our shops can get something in a few days if we don't stock it. I don't stock that cap because I don't need it very often. On the other hand I order the common 22uf/500v axial by the bag full. And I would be happy to source a part that someone cannot find on their own. but it really is a lot more efficient if someone can get it directly.

CE Dist is wholesale only, but it is simply the wholesale wing of ANtique Electronic SUpply, so any CE part can be had through AES at www.tubesandmore.com. Yes Magic is wholesale only as well. Sometimes we forget that some folks are "civilians" and can't order from the usual places we take for granted.

                  Also Mouser with stock numbers:
                  60uf/350v 75-TVA1613
                  100yf/350v 75-TVA1620
                  80uf/450v 75-TVA1716

                  Those are Sprague Atoms
