Wondering if the pole pieces are stacked slug/mag/slug within ea. hole?
The coils are tall, btw. Maybe slugs added to help the HB tone.

ebay seller commented there's slug top and bottom. Must be rods,
there's no sign of bars. HC reviews offer clue, great split Strat tones.

From what I remember of the few I have seen are they are regular rod magnets..
