  • 5E3 Board Wires Under or Over ?

I am ready to start a new 5E3 build (Triode kit) I was wondering if there is any problem with

putting the underboard wires on top and if not would it be advisable to use some shielded wire ??

I'm just more comfortable with wrapping to the turrets as opposed to going in the hole

    on the bottom.Thanks .

There really is no problem putting the underboard wires on top of the board. It can look a little messy. You don't need shielded wire anywhere in a 5E3. If the amp hums, it's almost always a ground problem that shielded wire doesn't change. Will you be using standoffs to raise the board off the chassis, or using some sort of insulator board?
WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
