  • Gauss Meters for sale

Those here who have been looking for a gauss meter, should check mechg's thread over in the Flea Market subforum:

    http://music-electronics-forum.com/t29207/

he's got a very elegant implementation of a hand-held gauss meter using the AD chip (like Elepro kit uses) and at a very good price too!.

Thank you very much for the heads up, Brad.

My old gaussmeter from elepro got run over by a SUV, so this one perfectly fills the bill for me.

I'm on the list for the next batch...

I thought all those Italian's drove Audis, Porche, and Ferraris.
        Maybe they honked first!

When I was in Rome in '05 I saw lots of Renaults, Citroëns, Fiats, Smart Cars, and Mercedes-Benz. The Benz SUVs were nicer then the ones we had here at the time, and much smaller.

This meter is very cool. I would have bought one if I could justify getting another one.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

On my last trip to Italy (been there quite a few times now) I saw more Mini's (Mini Coooper that is, the car my wife drives) then I have ever seen.

            Sorry for the OT

Yeah, it's a very elegant implementation, I would have got one too if these were available back when we did that group buy.

I have also joined the buying, but with an extended measurement range (it costs a bit more expensive)

Just got mine in the mail on Wednesday and started tinkering around with it. Great thing is it's good to go straight out of the box.

I clicked on the link in the first post. The first post in the thread that the link takes you to was posted by mechg, who is the one selling the meters. I sent him a PM asking to put me on his waiting list. After about 3 weeks he had one ready and let me know. I sent him the money using Paypal and I got my meter 3 days later.

I purchased one. It is pretty awesome for the money and the transaction was smooth.

I sent a msg to MechG. When he has some ready he emailed me, sent me an invoice, I paid, had a gauss meter a few days later.

                            +1.

I really like this thing, and admire Greg's inspired implementation of a very good idea.
