  • Marshall 6100lm no clean channel

    Hi chaps
I have just got me a 6100lm with the clean channel gone!
When i select channel two there is a thump through the speaker and a thump selecting back to one again.
Selecting channel three is fine no thump but the sound just aint right.
Also ch two has sound its just ch one thats silent

So far i have checked all the ecc83 valves on my tester and they all good,

Im just looking for ideas at the moment you may have as to the best place to start checking this beast, any expirence you may have with this model would be much appreciated at this point.

    Thanks guys

Love this site by the way

You can always start by posting the correct schematic...

Apparently the 6100LM was part of the 30th anniversary series but released in 1994 as a modded version. It seems that finding a schematic is much harder as this is a very rare amp to begin with and then was part of the modded series. Although that stands for Lead Mod (LM) on the lead channel and all the other parts of the schematics should be the same...

Also, the channel switching is designed w/ a midi circuit... So here is the midi switching schematic.
