more pictures let's see the inside.
    A jukebox amp?
    An Altec theater amp?
    A leslie amp?
    Mid-late 1940s?
    Pretty cool whichever...

Pretty sure it's an amp from an electric organ, but it doesn't look like the Leslie amp. Maybe a Conn or Hammond?
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

It does look like Hammond / Leslie.
          6C5 preamp tube,
Pre- 1/4" input connectors, (dating it to "sometime" 1940s) and the output jacks (multi-pin) may be intended to drive (or power) a rotating speaker.
There type connectors were frequently used on Hammond church and theater organs.
Until you see the inside, it's kind of hard to tell exactly.
But with photos of the inside, may be able to match it to a schematic.

It *may* be Hammond. I'd look for "AO-" part numbers on the transformers. Could be anything tho. Organ, 50s juke amp...who knows. Those threaded hi-z connectors were used well into the 60s on PA amps and other stuff.

It looks sort of similar to a Wurlitzer power amp that I had in the past....I would say it is definitly from an organ or something along those lines.

You could always draw up your own schematic of it....
